Safety & Security
It is the Downtown SBY Egg Hunt’s goal to create a fun and safe environment for you and your family in Downtown Salisbury. The Egg Hunt is in its 5th year now and are continuing to grow and expand!
This time, we will have more space reserved and for a longer period of time which means you won’t feel so crowded and rushed. We will also have 30,000 eggs, even more than ever before! That means all children escorted by their parents will get a chance to collect some goodies.
With different designated Egg Hunt areas for four different age groups (Birth-2 years old, 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old and 9-12 years old), we are creating an environment where you and your kids will have enough space to hunt for eggs and the chance to find as many as they can! This year, we will also have a designated section for children with special needs.
Help us keep this event secure by keeping your children with you at all times when you are at the Downtown Egg Hunt. There will be police officers and plenty of volunteers who will make sure that these rules are in place.

What if my child doesn’t receive that many eggs?
Our primary goal during the hunting of eggs is the safety of the children which has compelled us to divide different areas for each age group. This should also help each child (not their parents) to have an equal opportunity to get some eggs! Also, the wonderful part of this event is that everything is free and the hunting of eggs is a minor part of the day. We hope that you and your family will enjoy the many opportunities for fun at the event.
Where can I send my feedback for the event?
You can send any constructive feedback or suggestions for next year to DowntownSbyEggHunt@gmail.com but feel free to share your fun and excitement on the Egg Hunt Facebook page. Help us make the Egg Hunt better!
